Applied Geology

The field of Applied Geology at GZN has two research groups:

The group of Hydro- & Environmental Geology integrates different subjects from geology, hydrology, and chemistry to stable isotopes into an exciting field of research.

The group of Modeling of Environmental Systems focuses on the development of numerical models to unravel the complex interactions among geosystems.
