Author of the IPCC Assessment Report from the GeoZentrum
Prof. Wolfgang Kießling from the Chair of Paleoenvironment has been appointed as an author for the expert report of the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change). The reports of the IPCC, often referred to as the “Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change,” are considered the basis for global climate policy.
