KinderUni is a learning opportunity offered by the office of culture and recreation at the city of Nuremberg. Each September and February, a new program offers  lectures, seminars, and exercises, lead by various academia and research institutions in the region. The events are free of charge and dedicated to children between the age of eight and twelve.

The GeoZentrum offers an event for KinderUni every summer semester. Together with scientists from the chair of Palaeontology, the children use microscopes and tweezers to explore tiny fossils. The program for this year`s event can be found here.
